Manitowoc Ice IYF0500N Description

Designed to be paired with a remote cooler and an ice storage bin, the Manitowoc IYF0500N Indigo NXT™ ice machine head is remote cooled. Half-dice ice production can be programmed by volume or by time of day to save on electricity costs during slow periods. Its easyTouch® display, located on the front of the unit, provides icon-based information about operational and preventive maintenance updates, and its temperature can also be adjusted through this touchscreen device. Maintenance and diagnostic feedback are available 24 hours to prevent expensive maintenance buildups over time.

The Manitowoc IYF0500N ice maker head produces between 465 and 525 pounds of half-dice ice in 24 hours. It uses an acoustical ice-sensing probe to ensure consistent thickness of ice, and its active sense technology monitors constant collection of ice for proper production. This unit's DuraTech® exterior, which is applied on top of the stainless steel construction, provides a clear coating that fends off greasy fingerprints. For general maintenance, its hinged front door swings out, providing access to remove its water trough, distribution tube, curtain, water probe, and water pump. Between cleanings, certain components are protected from fast bacterial growth with the AlphaSan® antimicrobial technology. Overall, the unit is 30 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 21.5 inches high.
